Hegemony of Kai-Xyn

Hegemony of Kai-Xyn.

I got a question about this, and, well... I suppose I can give some details of what I do know about them. They're very secretive though, hard to fully understand.


They're dedicated to ending all of Creation, because that's what Kai-Xyn is: entropy itself. Darkness that ends everything. Chaos that removes all order.

They have a more imperialistic approach. At least, the little things I do know about them... their intention is to conquer and dominate. I don't know their plans, but I can only assume that through domination, they can then plunge the universe back into the dark ages. One might suspect that this is something that already happened right after the first Great War.


So far, they managed to do get their hands on two planets, their strongholds of Wezen and Aeg. Difficult to approach their closed off continents, as they shoot off any intruder, but they might let you in if you have something to offer.
I initially came to Wezen as an ambassador, so to speak. I even got invited. Then had to shoot myself a way out. Should tell you what kind of people they are.

They have several "prefectures" across the universe that I know of, most of them in southern and western regions of the universe, and probably a lot that I don't know of.

I also know they have space structures, cloaked even for some of our best scanners (that technology they have is not something they are sharing, oddly enough). I know they exist because I once tracked one of their own to it. They're called Shrines, or Sanctums I think. Something like that.
If you approach while cloaked, and carry a specific signal, theoretically it should get you into the structure. I failed, and got a whole crapload of drones after me.

Be wary of them though, even if you get in. They can be trusted, yes, but they often speak with dual meanings, and often know more than they're letting on.


They're not neccesarily our enemies, because in the Imperialist War the Hegemony (at least some elements of them) cooperated with the Theocracy to hunt and kill cultists of the Atua-Ngau, which are a collective enemy of both the Theocracy and the Hegemony, and which had infiltrated the Empire ranks.
But in general, ToKR and HoKX can never be considered allies of each other.


I heard some titles used within the Hegemony, but I don't know how they work, or what they do. Although one can guess.

OOC, I considered allying myself with one of the Patriarchs of Kai-Xyn, but eventually decided it wouldn't really work out. Considering the state the Theocracy is currently in, I imagine the Hegemony is deader than dead?

I have heard rumours during my time in Union Keldon Core that their is a den with 2 SDQs- Ok that isnt the rumour, that is pretty well known. But rumour has it that they are the brother/sister kinship of Kai-Rang and Kai-Xyn. Another rumour states they are just 2 brother Patriarchs and probably the least likely, They are one and the same under the name of Kha-Razux but I'm not sure who that is. You hear things but you don't know what is true...

Unfortunately for us all, the Hegemony is back. Kha-Razux has indeed risen again as well as his brother Blood and Death. Solarix has located the new Patriarchs in Aeg and Wezen, but Razux himself remains elusive.

Aeg and Wezen are the stronghold worlds of the Hegemony. Basically their home of operations.
The Matriarchs, and me as well, detected a huge telepathic shockwave originating from those two worlds.

This happened right after Xeniz completed the neccesary ritual for Kha-Razux.
I think the two Patriarchs Kha-Nathn (Blood) and Kha-Sybik (Death) were summoned on those worlds by the influence of Kha-Razux after that ritual, and are now roaming the universe.

It's only a matter of time before Kha-Shyundir resurfaces too...
